Automating E2E Tests

Automated End-to-End (E2E) testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium are standard practice in modern CI/CD pipelines. Testing the full user journey requires dynamically generating an email, completing the signup form, retrieving the confirmation link via API, and asserting successful account activation.

Automated Workflow Pattern:

  1. The test runner requests a dynamic disposable email handle via API.
  2. The browser automation agent inputs the email into the registration form.
  3. The runner queries the inbox endpoint until the OTP message arrives.
  4. The regex parser extracts the OTP token and submits it back to the test browser.
